Mother love has many ways. Mother memory too. Damiano, the protagonist of our story, recalls his mom’s life through the dreams, the gestures, the steps of the Butoh dance performer he is. He moves on the screen with the nobleness of a horse while she appears like a strong and light eagle in the sky. But they are not so far away from identity, thus we see a final passing of the torch between them.
